Public attention to sustainability and regulations on single-use packaging are driving interest in reusable packaging systems in the United States. So far, few cities have a foothold with reusables systems like Portland, Oregon, does. Now, businesses, nonprofits and government entities in that metropolitan area are tackling the challenges of scaling.
